Advanced Research Review follows a strict policy to maintain originality, academic integrity and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their work is original, has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal. Plagiarism, duplicate publication and the unattributed reuse of previously published material are unacceptable.
10%
Plagiarism similarity limit
Overall similarity index, excluding references, properly cited quotations and other legitimate matches.
20%
AI-generated content limit
Recommended maximum share of AI-generated text in the manuscript, with disclosure of any use of generative AI.
Plagiarism similarity limit
The journal recommends that the overall similarity index should not exceed 10%, excluding references, properly cited quotations and other legitimate matches, subject to the journal’s screening procedure. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned for revision or rejected after editorial assessment. A similarity score alone does not establish plagiarism; each report will be evaluated in context.
AI-generated content limit
Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in preparing their manuscripts, where applicable. The journal recommends that AI-generated text should not exceed 20% of the manuscript. AI-generated content must be checked for accuracy, originality, proper attribution and fabricated references. AI tools must not be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the submitted work.
What counts as plagiarism
Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, data, figures, tables, photographs or other material without appropriate acknowledgement or permission where required. Reusing an author’s own previously published work without disclosure or citation is also unacceptable. Authors must cite all sources accurately and express paraphrased ideas in their own words while acknowledging the original source.
Screening and follow-up
Manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection and AI-detection tools before or during peer review. Where concerns arise, the editorial team may request explanations or revisions, reject the manuscript, or take appropriate corrective action regarding published work. Translated or previously published material must be disclosed, and the necessary permissions must be obtained where applicable.
